Only one year has gone by since Rome launched their outerwear and in 2009-2010 they continue to expand, improve and give the world a style of Rome that people want. Rome outerwear has more features, waterproofing and breathability technology for riders from the northwest to northeast. The designs continue to be clean, functional and continue with the rome image.
Here’s a look at some of the outerwear coming out in 09-10, from three collections with different fits for different shapes of riders.
I was able to check out the Donner Jacket during the on-snow demos and it won me over with the fit, warmth and it looked better in person than in the catalog. It’s rare that I find the women’s outerwear more appealing than the mens and Rome definitely worked to create women’s lines that look good without losing function.

Allie, totally agree…the women’s jackets kill it in looks, clean, sleak and looks good to me. I wish they’d come in XL cause i’m not tiny but hey oh well…i’ll have to see if they fit or just go for men’s like usual.
