686 2012-2013

For 20 years, 686 has been about providing the riding community with innovative, fashionable outerwear and technical apparel. To commemorate their double decade of outerwear progression, the catalog is a mix of history with riders, stories and featuring the next generation of 686 outerwear.

For 2013, 686 partners with Dickies for a signature urban background and style with the Dickies “made to work” collection, Blind Skateboards for the core of skateboarding in outerwear pieces, Plain Sane with softgoods from the originator in snowboard accessories, Union for 686 styled bindings, Bern for a limited edition helmet and Scion for a really pimped out 686 styled Scion. There are limited edition snowboards for friends and family.  686 continues with the New Balance collaboration of boots and shoes.  For special series, the snaggletooths are back with their dysfunctional family in two outerwear pieces and in a variety of softgoods. The Reclaim project uses materials that would have been thrown away and puts them back into the Reclaim outerwear with original pieces.
