Moving forward with Danny

When I think of Danny Toumarkine, I think of his laugh, his smile and seeing him snowboarding in the summer. He’s an awesome person to be around and I was lucky to spend the summer at Windells Camp watching him kill it on the mountain. Last winter Danny suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) during a Montana snowboarding trip and for weeks we checked in to the Danny is the Bomb blog to get the progress from Michelle and Conor.

Yesterday, Danny sent me a message with his latest video and I finally checked it out today. Take a second and see the story of Danny over the past 10 months. It’s been an incredible journey and the best part is that Danny is still here with us. When I watch this video it’s hard to see Danny at his worst, because you always see him at his best.

So proud of Danny and what he’ll accomplish this winter. Just hoping that more people wear helmets snowboarding!
