October 31, 2011 at 7:20 amHere’s how it’s gonna go down:
1. Rainbow on the band
2. Unicorn on the frame
3. Flames all around it
4. Win
John
October 31, 2011 at 7:44 amI dont know that Jon K dude is, but great minds think alike!! First I’d layer it with copious amounts of glitter – then plaster on some Unicorns wielding samurai swords, whilst headbanging in a pit filled with rainbows on their homeland of Unicornicopia. Rad.

October 31, 2011 at 8:09 amI would have the eyes of the devil across the top, like the devil eyes by Coop on the base of the Ride DH2.5. Around the rest of the frame I would have flames. I would have a charred wood effect on the strap.
mariesa
October 31, 2011 at 8:16 amI’d draw a shelltoe with camo stripes on the strap and color the front in camo.

October 31, 2011 at 10:47 amI thought I would base mine off of Damien Hirst’s spot paintings because Hirst’s stuff is so pricey and not everyone would recognize the inspiration, but if they did we would have a great chat on the chairlift.
Although, after thinking for ten seconds and being as it’s Adidas goggles, a RUN DMC logo would be sick. On the straps I could have the KIngs of Rock represented with the classic Run DMC logo and on the frame I could write some or their rhymes on it in Black and Red. I would definitely use some lines from It’s Tricky and some from Down with the King at the very least.
“This speech is my recital…..”

Nes.
October 31, 2011 at 2:27 pmWell, actually I would draw a robot armageddon on the strap – a whole fighting scene of robots destroying each other. But on the goggle frames I’d make use of all those stickers that are included in the kit. It’s be cool to cut them up in little pieces and make a really colorful, intricate and layered collage.
Dave
October 31, 2011 at 8:53 pmI would write a bunch of stylized words (composed of words like powder, love snowboarding, bluebird…etc) as a back pattern, with some simple, creative doodles and characters over the top of it (whatever comes to mind!)

November 1, 2011 at 10:52 pmUhm, I can’t say that I really truly know for sure ’cause sometimes when it comes to being artistic, you just have to look at something for awhile & you have different ideas going through your head & all, & you contemplate a few of them or so, but then you finally decide on one or just start with something & see where it goes. I’m not sure how the band is as far being receptive to inks & how it would absorb them, if they’d stay clear & defined or kind of spread out in the material & therefore saturate, etc., (in other words clearly defined lines or more of a “watercolor” effect if you will) but I think I’d probably have some words to put on the frames when it was all said & done or just save a little space where they’d be visible as far as type color & background color contrast go, but from there, just kind of rainbow it & start with some tribal, squiggly lines or something like that & just go for it. In other words, you don’t really know what it’s gonna’ look like until you’re done & then of course you think of all the different things you could have done instead of what you did do or how you “could have made it better”, so on & so forth, but that’s just the nature of art, you’re always your own worst critic, or at least I am sometimes. I was told that I was “gifted” in art as a kid but kind of gave it up after 8th grade ’cause I reached a point where I was taking too long to get the assignments done & therefore they were getting graded as incompletes or Fs. The teacher told me he didn’t want to do that but it was up to me to either “finish” them on time, or take the grade. I chose quality over time & have never regretted it. In other words, these would probably wind up lookin’ like some kind of tribal rainbow things, & no, I’m not gay, bi, or anything like that, but rainbows are pretty cool & that’s that. Oh yeah, you might not believe this, but I’ve actually never had a pair of goggles in my whole life. If I won these, they’d be my first. I just wear cheesy sunglasses & deal with it. Anyway, it’d be cool to win these & play around with them & get artistic again/see what I come up with, later Shannon, peace!

November 1, 2011 at 11:50 pma panorama of a high school rager/kegger party all across the strap with small red cups, ping pong balls, bottle caps, etc on the frames.
Miriam
November 2, 2011 at 12:09 amI’d go with a base of hulk-green on the frame and band. Then some bright blue, yellow and pink cartoon cats on top. Beautiful.
