The powder was fresh and even though I got stuck on a lift ALONE for over an hour because of weather conditions the fresh powder that was falling from the sky the whole week I was there made is soooooo worth it!

September 26, 2011 at 9:40 amHeading to Whistler …. only a four hour drive and I go up frequently but it’s the trip in March I’m most excited about because I’m going by myself. No stopping when someone else gets tired. No turning around because the path into the backcountry is too sketchy for them to handle. No hesitation from friends as I charge towards the double blacks.

September 26, 2011 at 4:35 pmI’m really looking forward to my annual pre-christmas trip with my buddy Erik. For the last three seasons, we have gone to a different mountain after my exams but before Christmas. One year it was Kicking Horse, the year after it was Revelstoke, and last year it was Castle. We pretty much determine it the days prior to the trip based on accommodations, snow, etc. It’s definitely a highlight trip and a great way to get some early season tracks.
