DC Boots 2011-2012

When it comes to designing snowboard boots, DC designers blend advancements in their snowboard boot technology with a skate inspired focus on styling.  They understand a boots true performance can only be felt when you have a seamless fit from your foot in the liner and in in the liner in the shell which you can see in their Golden Last features like smaller overall foot prints, in-step reduction, toe box volume reduction, narrowed heel cup, anatomically correct, forward lean and defined J-bars.

For the 2012 season, DC introduces two new closure systems (Constrictor Hybrid Closure System and Winch System) to hold feet firmly in place for better feel and performance.  On the higher end models, Genuine leather has been used on Status, Ceptor SE and Super Park SE this season.  Other features include Aerotech to keep the feet comfortable and fresh smelling all season.  Designers have built in molded vents that release steam through openings in the liner and shell.  An added bonus of that technology is the anti-microbial material that keeps boots from getting stinky.

DC Judge

A part of DC’s snow heritage, the Judge is back and better than ever.  Packed with features and the go-to boot for Torstein Horgmo who had this to say about the boot, “I like it because I can customize the fit but it’s still pretty soft and really comfortable for that good feel.”  Features constrictor closure system, 3D tongues, articulation, molded backstay, internal ankle harness, unilite, alpha liner.  Flex=7.

DC Ceptor SE

The most technical lace boot has just been put on a pedestal of its own.  Now with genuine leather the Ceptor SE provides a premium look, imrpoved performance and bomber durability.  Features full grain leather, direct power lacing, wraplock, aerotech, 3D tongue, articulation, molded backstay, welded toe cap, internal ankle harness, unilite, impact G, alpha liner, Flex=8.

DC Ceptor

The Ceptor is the most versatile lace boot on the planet.  There are no gimmicks when it comes to this boot, just technical features to provide you with the best days of your life.  It’s the boot of choice for Devun Walsh and Lauri Heiskari.  Features direct power lacing, wrap lock, aerotech, 3D tongue, articulation, molded backstay, welded toe cap, internal ankle harness, unilite, impactG, alpha liner.  Flex=8.

DC Super Park SE

Made from the best cows on the planet the Super Park SE is genuine Full Grain U.S.D.A leather.  The more you wear this boot the better it will look and feel.  Features full grain leather, winch, direct power lacing, wrap lock, 3D tongue, articulation, molded backstay, unilite, park bravo liner, Flex=6.

DC Super Park

The Super Park has been completely reinvented and features the Winch, DC’s new heel hold system.  The Winch features a boa reel that targets the sweet spot at the ankle for superior heel hold and gives you on the fly adjustability in a traditional lace boot.  With a look and feel that’s heavily inspired from our skate shoes, this is a favorite of Aaron Bittner.  Features winch, direct power lacing, wrap lock, 3D tongue, articulation, molded backstay, unilite, park bravo liner, Flex=6.

DC Gizmo

The best of both worlds have finally met.  The Constrictor hybrid closure  system features both BOA and traditional lacing on one boot.  DC’s Constrictor closure on the lower provides support and heel hold while the traditional lacing on the upper allows you to ride your boot as tight or as loose as you want.  Features constrictor hybrid system, wrap lock, 3D tongue, articulation, molded backstay, bravo liner, unilite, flex=6.

DC Park

The Park series shell and liner interface just got better.  With the addition of aerotech you now have the best articulated breathable boot.  The boot and liner are a seamless fit.  With more color than a double rainbow your bound to find one for your kit this season. DC Scout

The Scout has established itself as a staple in the DC line because it doesn’t sacrifice comfort, style or performance.  The BOA closure system gives you the power to dial in the fit you want.  We’ve added a new low profile unilite outside this year to make this rider’s favorite better than ever.  Features BOA, unilite, command liner, flex=5.

DC Rogan
