Nativ was founded in 2006 with the goal to bring the feel and style of surfing back to the snow with a board for back footed style of riding. The snowboards are made in the US with a set back stance and a smaller sized board for increased maneuverability, directional change and responsiveness.
Nativ comes in three models: Standard, S-Camber and Surf-Trac. Standard is the most versatile board designed for all types of conditions for the everyday rider. S-Camber is new for the 11-12 season and designed with powder in mind, looser than the standard model and lights up in all powder conditions. The Surf-Trac is new for 11-12 and designed to increase the surf style, back-footed feel in a variety of snow conditions. It has another contact point in the tail to hold through any turn you give it.

May 15, 2011 at 9:11 pmI rode the standard last Spring in 10″ of fresh @ Snowbird. It was a fun ride! I’d be interested to try the S- camber for some tree slalom…
