Memorial Weekend was a busy one in Mammoth. The town noticeably became busier as the weekend approached and with the winter storm I stayed inside for most of it. But Monday arrived with sunshine and not as many crowds so I headed out to the lifts to help out for the afternoon.
I haven’t spent much time on chair #23 this season but definitely will start to spend more time up there now. Today I helped out with lifts so I shadowed chair #23 for the day working the top and bottom of the lift. It’s good to get out of the office and lets me interact with guests.
Dropping in at the end of the day was fun but definitely some ice for the first section, then it got a lot better. I was a bit slow and taking it easy.
