Unity Snowboards are hand crafted in Summit County, Colorado and just minutes from the mountains. They have created big mountain boards to splitboards and now are frequently seen in the parks and pipes (often winning big time contests).
For 2012, Unity introduces the Whale model with a wide nose and shorter effective edge, it’s meant for powder but can handle the groomers. The ultralight is missing but the standard models dominion, pride, origin, reverse and virgo are back. Unity also continues with splitboards on the dominion and new this year for splitboards is the reverse splitboard option.
Unity Whale
The whale boards are a new type of surf style freeride board. They moved the wide point on the nose of the board back to match where the nose rocker starts, this makes the board initiate a turn quicker and makes the effective edge of the boarder shorter than normal making the board feel shorter than it is. Unity Dominion
The dominion has always been the classic big mountain freeride board but for 11/12 it is the big mountain board with a directional rocker design. Directional rocker has camber underfoot with a rockered nose, added two carbon fibers that come from under the front foot and run forward through the rocker zone. Unity Reverse and Dominion Splitboards
You can get splitboards in the Dominion and Reverse series boards, the construction and rocker design is the same as the solid versions of the boards however on the splitboards they add S-glass stringers throughout the middle of each side of the split to reinforce each ski when in touring mode. The splits have sintered P-tex sidewalls and rockwell 48 steel edges in the center of the board. The splits will be available with the standard voile insert pattern and will have the tip clips and hooks installed. You will need to have the Voile universal splitboard interface to mount your bindings to the board.

Unity Origin
The origin is the true twin park board, traditional camber, completely symmetrical in both shape and flex and feature a centered stance, perfect for hitting huge park jumps or boosting in the pipe. This is the board of choice for Unity pipe riders: Zach Black, Dylan Bidez, JJ Thomas. Unity Reverse
These boards are twin tip shapes with twin flex patterns, reverse camber design which has a small amount of camber between the feet and then angles up at flat angles from the foot area, 6mm of rise on the tip and tail, art by Christopher David Carr. Unity Pride
Ultimate do it all directional freestyle board, directional in shape and flex. Deep sidecut, carbon wrapped core creates two X designs under each foot that give a snappy and lively feel to the board.
