Over the weekend a storm rolled into Mammoth and delivered up a couple more inches of snow on the mountain. The total is now 453 inches (almost 38 feet of snow) and it’s good on the mountain. So good that I’m happy snowboarding will continue into the spring.
Ashley and I hit up the mountain with the gopro on a pole and flipcam in my pocket plus my camera for some good turns. We headed over to chair #22 to see what the avy chutes were like first and then made our way farther over. With the storm still in effect, it meant the upper mountain was closed so lower mountain only.
Even at noon there was powder on the mountain

Traversing over to get powder turns under chair #9 which wasn’t running today

Next couple days are sunny so top of the mountain should open up. Happy for all the snow!
