Party time at SIA 2011

We’re just days away from the SIA Tradeshow in Denver, Colorado with the industry checking out 2012 and lots of business going on but also a ton of fun parties and events going on.  The ski and snowboard industry will be out partying it up and even if you aren’t attending the SIA tradeshow, you can still get in on the parties going on.

I’ll be arriving late Wednesday so unfortunately missing the shootout hockey game this year.  Looking forward to the other events including the TWS Riders Poll.

Wednesday, January 26th

The night before the tradeshow begins is the big kick-off events with the Denver Big Air competition and the SIA shootout hockey game.

The Denver Big Air on Wednesday is the snowboard Big Air from 5-10pm at the Civic Center Park and $40 for general admission.

The SIA Shootout is a benefit for SOS with industry players battling it out from 8:45pm to 10:15pm at Foothills Ice Arena.

Thursday, January 27th

The first day of the tradeshow starts the party with the SIA Ladies Night Fashion Show, Snowdown with Z-trip and a Snowboard Colorado party.

The Fashion Show will showcase some of the hottest trends for fall 2011 featuring apparel and accessories from Nomis, Voleurz, Cilla, Yea Nice, Zimtstern, and Clast.  Ladies get a goodie bag from sponsors and drink free from 10pm to midnight (heck yeah).  Retailer stuff before, but the fashion show starts at 10pm at Oak Tavern.

SNOWDOWN brings headlining national and local entertainment to Denver’s City Hall Amphitheater at 8pm.  Brought to you by NEFF Headwear and Sony PiiQ headphones, SNOWDOWN features an all-nighter line up of performances with headliner Z-Trip and TBA national hip-hop artist special guest.

Snowboard Colorado is hosting a Colorado snowboard company welcomes you party at Jackson’s.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to share in the fun!  Doors @ 8, no cover, cheap drinks, live entertainment, free giveaways, VIP area with bottle service.

Friday, January 28th

Day two of SIA continues on with the big Riders Poll Awards, the must event for snowboarders at SIA.  Flow Snowboarding is hosting a big ass punk party and Icelantic presents Big Boi.

Come and celebrate the best riders, films, standouts, and legends of snowboarding during the 12th Annual TransWorld Riders Poll Awards at the Fillmore starting at 8pm.

Flow Snowboarding is having their cheers to 15 years with the Big Ass Punk Party at Benders starting at 8pm.

In conjuction with the SIA tradeshow, Icelantic, Spyder, Optic Nerve, Backcountry Magazine, Discrete Heawear, CSCUSA Gems, A-Basin, Echo Mt, Sailor Jerry’s, TommyKnocker Brewery, Peach St. Distiiler’s, and Wahoo’s are throwing the biggest party of the week. Big Boi, from Outkast, w. special Guests Eligh and Scarub from the Living Legends, and The Foodchain will be holding it down @ The Ogden on the 28th of Jan.

Saturday, January 29th

The last big night of the SIA tradeshow and Ink Monstr is hosting the Beatnuts.

Ink Monstr, Ralph Schomp MINI, & Fay Myers present FREE 4 ALL – featuring The Beatnuts, Whygee, & Special Guest DJ with free drinks provided by Redbull, PBR and Avery Brewing Co.  Free admission and 21+
