Since I’ve been out in Oregon it’s easy to forget what day of the week it is but today was a great Friday! Camps in session, we’re on day 2 for snow time and plenty of time to get the stoke out on the mountain. I woke up early for breakfast where the Windells kitchen staff definitely makes my morning start right and headed to the mountain after updating the blog.

It was a busy day on the slopes with the race camps running and HCSC started camp as well so lines were longer than session 1 but also meant more time in our private park using the two rope tows we have.

The weather today finally cleared the way for us to open the private park with all the Windells features including the new dream feature by Nike 6.0.

I spent the day with Yudo’s group where I found Camper of the Day Noah who was here for session 1 and still having fun at camp. He was so stoked on being camper of the day and such a fun kid to spend the day riding with. It’s seriously such a fun time out here just blogging and snowboarding.

On the way down I gave a couple of HCSC staff a ride into Govy so I stopped at Cobra Dogs to say hi to Corey and get my first cobra dog of the summer. If you are in Govy make sure you stop in and get some yumness at cobra dogs.

June 21, 2010 at 6:12 amIntern, sick! Yeah all summer I’ll be around so I’m sure we’ll see eachother again.
Martin, the lines are only like that before the camps open. Then it totally clears out since the camps are in their camps.
