Sessions Outerwear 2010-2011

When it comes to snowboard outerwear, Sessions has been at the forefront for over 25 years in bringing functionality and style to riders.  The Sessions line features a amplitude of features on their outerwear, from hidden mittens to skullcandy’s audio technology to the RECCO system, Sessions remains constant with new ideas to feature in their outerwear.

Their snow 2011 line draws inspiration from their past by bringing back simple clean lines with a range of colors, styles and fits for everyone.  They offer three new fits (team, true, trend) to match the varying rider styles on the slopes and they offer signature pieces for their pros like Tara Dakides, Tim Humphrey’s and Chris Benchetler.  Their committment to music was shown last year with the Metallica jacket and this year they worked with Pearl Jam on an outerwear piece to mix the sound of snowboarding to the sounds of Pearl Jam.

I had the opportunity to hang with Joel Gomez, founder of Sessions during the Tradeshow this year and his stories and passion were hard to miss when discussing snowboarding; our past, present and future.  After 25 years, passion is key and that shows in the Sessions line.
