Since I arrived back in Steamboat the sun has been shining everyday and just calling my name to get out on the mountain. Today we had really cold temperatures, negative degrees in the early morning and by the time I went out at noon it was still rather cold on the mountain which meant bundling up.

I ended up meeting up with Jenny Brown to get in some laps through the mini park together. Jenny works at PowderTools snowboard shop in town and it was the first time we could ride together since I’ve known her.

I was rocking the high 5 mittens that pow gloves gave me while in Seattle. Perfect day for the warmth of the mittens and still could throw high 5’s on the mountain.
