Disneyland may be the happiest place on earth and Windell’s may be the funnest place on earth but for someone who loves snowboarding gear, the raddest place is the SIA show. The SIA Snow Show is when the next year’s gear is released to the industry and in four days, you can see a whole lot of brands and people who makes those brands possible. This will be my second year attending on behalf of Shayboarder.com as a media member and a chance for me to sit down with companies to see the latest products that they’ll be releasing for the winter of 2010-2011.
I want to know from you what companies you would like me to meet with, check out the lines and do write up’s on. I’ll work my hardest to make sure I check them out and your input gives me a better idea of what companies are the focus for you…the most important people to this blog. To see a full list of exhibitors, click here and select show all.

For those who haven’t been checking out shayboarder.com that long, SIA is when I do daily write ups from the tradeshow that give a couple sneak peaks like Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and then I dive into more detail with dedicated posts to companies I met with during the tradeshow like this one with O-matic Snowboards where I sat down with Tanya, Jason, Todd and Louie gave the lowdown on the upcoming gear.
I’ll be attending all 4 days of the tradeshow and the 2 on-snow days to get the full coverage of upcoming gear. So feel free to share your input on companies/products to check out and meet with. Any questions you have/videos/photos/ideas you would like to see, share them and I’ll work to get them done.

December 29, 2009 at 8:16 pmSweet keep them coming!
There are a couple companies mentioned that I have talked to and they won’t be having a booth at SIA due to the costs involved. There will still be 10-11 gear to check out and I’ll find out the best way to check them out even though they might not have a booth at the show.

I want to see rome make a reverse camber without the bronze edges, not as soft as the artifact 1985, but with the same build quality and guts inside (and not as pricey as the postermania)
