Ten years ago when I was still learning how to snowboard, I worked hard to pay for summer camp and ended up attending Windell’s Camp at Mt. Hood. Since then I’ve grown up and my riding has progressed. To progress my riding even more, I’ll be heading back to Windell’s Snowboard Camp in August for session 7!
I’ll be blogging from camp and getting to check out the Adult perspective of attending snowboard camp. I am really happy to go back and be able to enjoy it as an adult while working on progressing my freestyle riding with the help of pros and coaches.

So if you are attending Session 7 of Windell’s this summer, I’ll be in the adult camp and having the time of my life…so come and join in! With the Windell’s signature park-feature design session, the pro attending session 7 is DWD/Think Thank’s Sean Genovese, after seeing him ride at Holy Oly…I can only imagine what the feature will be.
After camp ends I’ll be spending a couple days in Gresham and Portland to hang out, get some end of season riding in with friends and just have a good time. Plus I’ve got friends attending HCSC during the same time, so this will be a fun journey to Hood!
So anyone else heading to summer camp?

June 3, 2009 at 3:35 pmAwesome to hear Lou! I've got friends in Session 6 as well so you'll be riding with my friends! Windell's ends on the 11th but I'll be up riding at Hood till the 14th and will probably swing in to HCSC to say hi to a couple friends.
