Well the mountain is getting grim, a lot less white and a lot more brown coming out quickly. I love warm days but I want the season to last until April 12th as well. It means less driving for me to go to stay in Steamboat until the season ends, then branch out to other mountains.
Today was another warm sunny day on the slopes, I headed out with co-workers to do our employee pipe competition. No practice runs, no warm up and just ride it the best you can. I thought I aired out of the pipe pretty good but I didn’t hear my score and last year I had a hand still in the pipe which didn’t count.
