Designed for all styles of riders in all conditions, Salomon Snowboards has taken the logical steps for 09-10 to reduce their impact while developing and designing boards. With Wolfgang Nyvelt and David Benedek leading the pack, it’s no wonder that the boards are fun to ride.
Salomon Snowboards continues with the G.I.F.T (Green Initiative for Tomorrow) to help reduce the impact on the environment. For 09-10, two boards are added to the G.I.F.T movement, the all new Grip (men’s reverse camber freestyle) and Ivy (women’s reverse camber freestyle).

Do you know which of thees boards come in wide? I know the special did this year. Any info on the titan?

March 12, 2009 at 9:58 pmThe Special II, Answer, Riot, Scout, Drift, Sanchez, and Ace all come in magnum (wide) versions.
Not too familiar with the Titan except for it being an all mountain freeride board, but the Grip and Offical are sick. Also, we’re on the east coast where all mountain boards aren’t that big, so we wouldn’t know too much more about the Titan.

Paul, Harrison is riding the 09-10 Grip, a brand new board for 09-10 developed by Wolle Nyvelt. He’s been featured on the Ashbury blog lately so check for him there as well.

March 26, 2009 at 11:57 amHey Shay. Could you please make a post about the Salomon boot series of 2010 or upload the pics somewhere? I’m especially interested in the Salomon Pledge and the Fusion series if you have pics of them. 🙂
I’m really interested in their new designs.
Thanks in Advance.

September 20, 2010 at 1:43 pmhi, i wonder what you would advise…. i tried an Official out for just 1 day last year and loved it, maybe wouldn’t hurt to ride a *little* softer board though, as i am a puny girl. also the price tag is a little hefty! the lilly sounds good but some reviews say it’s not so hot at high speed and one said it’s only beg/int – how does Jenny Jones class as this?? the price is definitely more attractive though. i am looking for an all-round board, both speed and park, i am definitely not a beginner anymore, maybe not an intermediate either, black kickers etc/tricks and off piste will all need to be done. maybe no competition-size kickers YET and there is absolutely NO NEED for it to be good on a rail!
any suggestions?

September 20, 2010 at 2:34 pmCraig,
The Sick Stick sizes are 153, 156, 160, 163
The new salomon site is up for you to check out too!

Rosie, What size official did you ride and what’s your weight/height/boot size? Lily would be a good consideration but also with a more park focus. Are you able to demo more salomon boards? I’d recommend demo’ing to find which one you prefer. The safe bet is the official because you already like it.
