Steamboat 12/3/08

Today I knew I was heading out to take photos of Andrew in the park, so I packed up the good camera in a fanny pack and wrapped it over my shoulder.

Andrew is one of my skier friends, he does his own blog that focuses on skiing and whatever else goes through his mind. He got a good gig at Newschoolers as well. He’ll slide anything so I’m happy to get him in photos.
Currently there is a major overhaul in the base area with a new property coming up. Eventually our base area will look more resort like but it’s still being developed right now. Here’s a shot I took of Andrew going off the jump and you can see the base of Steamboat in it.
I stopped by and said hi to Johnny at the base before heading in back to work. It was on and off snowing in town, so hopefully we get more snow for this weekend. The gondola opens on Friday and top to bottom riding on Saturday.
