Update 4/21/08: Scroll to the bottom of the page for the K2 Catalog.
As a K2 board owner, always stoked to see next years products for K2 and what they have expanded on. Before SIA, I saw some glimpses at the 08-09 products and was amazed at the brightness but once in person I didn’t really notice it.
For 08-09 K2 adds 3 more boards to the rocker technology with varying rocker on each one. The boards vary from specific powder riding to park riding.
I have rode the 08-09 K2 Turbo Dream and reviewed it here
I have rode the 08-09 K2 Zero and reviewed it here
I have rode the 08-09 K2 Duchess and reviewed it here

Snowboard Mag has my most favorite photo (which I posted below) of the Rocker boards from K2.

Turbo Dream

VaVaVoom
K2 Anagram, Jibpan, Darkstar Wide, WWW and Believer
I’m going to post up this image to give an idea on the different rocker types from K2. This is from their ad in a Future Snowboard Trade News.

February 25, 2008 at 12:09 amWow, thanks so much for this. I work in a sports store that primarely focuses on K2 and have fallen in love with everything about their boards.
Next year I think Im going to pro-order the Jibpan and Turbo Dream (<-- thanks to your other article). Would it be worth my time to order both or could I order one and be fine. I get boards for cheap through pro-ordering so it wont break the bank to get both. Also, I’ll need to buy bindings. The Auto’s worth it or is there a special new binding comming out for men that’ll be better? Anyways, I read your blog constantly and love the inside scoop you’ve given me on all the 08-09 stuff. Keep it up.

February 27, 2008 at 10:24 amHey Jordan!
Awesome you are stoked on K2 as well! Definitely your choice on ordering both or not, I have more need for all mountain freestyle boards that’s why I just rode the Turbo Dream or a powder board like the gyrator. But I’ve heard great things about the Jibpan for next year as a park board. You could get both and decide which one to keep or keep both.
The womens autos are new this year, but the mens were done last year and this year they have more models with auto. Also the formula’s are one of the more popular bindings from K2 but those don’t have the auto system. I definitely liked the auto system but check them out for yourself to see if you like them.
Thanks for reading the blog!

August 4, 2008 at 1:02 pmHey,
From K2, the jibpan would be a good choice or the www without rocker. Other considerations, Capita Stairmaster, Rome Graft or artifact, endeavor color, just throwing a couple out that I’ve heard good things on…
