I’m always stoked to make it up on the mountain during the workweek…relaxes me and helps me make it through the day. Unfortunately it also means working later to make up the hours. Ah well I can make sacrifices for the snow time.
Today I made it up, hit up the gondola around 11am and texted my friends to see who was out on the mountain. Going up the gondola, I saw that Heavenly Daze was open but didn’t look like much traffic was on it.
My Oakley’s rocked with the new design as well 🙂 Totally happy with how they came out.
When I made it up it was a bit cloudy out but visibility was decent. However throughout each run, visibility got worse until my last run it was riding through clouds.
I made turns with Tom and stuck to Thunderhead and Vagabond for the day. Groomed runs with some new snow on top.
