I’d been hesitant to go back to Copper until the lines died down…but they definitely were not bad for riding today. Steve and I showed up to Copper around 10:30am to enjoy another day of snowboarding. We made two runs on American Eagle before noticing that American Flyer chair was open and loading people. Since it was overcast and kind of cloudy day…I finally got to try out the rose lenses on my EG5’s. They rocked!
We spent the day making laps on the super fun run of American Flyer. It had less people, less ski patrollers and a ton of fun rollers throughout the run.
The only downside was enduring a cold long wait as the chair stopped and took a while to get started again. Conditions today were overcast, snowing most of the day and pretty cold out. I was dressed in my shell gear and more for warmer weather…so a half-day break was a necessity to enjoy some warm irish coffee inside.
